REGALRIDGE KENNEL

Regalridge was established in the early 80’s as an extension of our hobby of breeding and showing Terriers. Both Ken and I have had terriers in our families all of our lives and love the quirkiness, tenacity, loyalty and joy that they bring to our lives and to the homes of the folks who have decided to live with our puppies. With a view to providing the best possible example of our breeds of Welsh, Airedale and, on occasion, Norwich Terriers, we have combined bloodlines from throughout the world. Close working relationships with Norma Aprahamian (Chaos) and Forbes Gordon (Tartan) have brought us much acclaim in the show rings and have laid a foundation for the presentation of the Regalridge dogs you see today. During the years we have been breeding Terriers, we have had many Best In Show and Best In Specialty Show winning Terriers. Our Lites Camera Action dog is the top winning Canadian bred Welsh in the history of the breed (1999), Christie (Ch Regalridge Dior) was the top winning Canadian bred Airedale female in Canada, and many others that you will see pictured have accomplished similar feats. Not only are these dogs some of the best examples of the breed but they are also our house pets - wonderful dogs with which to live, proudly carrying the Regalridge banner now and through future generations.

Our first commitment is to the health and temperament of our breeds. Both are guaranteed in writing and are the linchpins of our breeding program. Puppies who leave us are sold as pets and are sold on non-breeding agreements. As members of our ‘canine family’ they are an important part of our life and the relationship with many of our purchasers continues for the life of the dog. We prefer to meet you prior to your becoming the owner of a Regalridge pup and, to this end, we encourage visits to our country home.
